There is a long tradition
of Scouting in the Eggleton family. Peter has been a member of the association
since his youth, throughout his career in the RAF and since when completed a
six-year period as Farnham's District Commissioner. Now working as an IT
Project Manager, Peter applies his commercial expertise and extensive Scouting
experience to his dual role as Treasurer and International Co-ordinator at
Uganda Sunrise UK. He has also spent may months in Uganda working with the USA
Headquarters staff and more recently in assisting the Requirements Capture
Programme. One highlight of Peter's experiences in Uganda was addressing the
five thousand-strong congregation at Namirembe Cathedral Kampala on Easter
Sunday 2000. Always one for a challenge, Peter was given 2-minutes to prepare
and was wearing a Kanzu! |
