A lifelong member of the
Guiding and Scouting movements, Leana has been involved in Scouting in Uganda
since 1997. Having formally joined Uganda Sunrise at the beginning of 2001,
Leana now holds the positions of Secretary, and Project Co-ordinator. As a keen
traveller, Leana has completed hiking expeditions to New Mexico and Arizona,
and Scouting projects in Kenya, Uganda and the Seychelles. Leana has many
sporting achievements and more recently Leana took part in the Military
Challenge, running 10k before completing the Army Assault Course in Pirbright.
Her next challenge will be the London Triathlon where she will be raising money
for Uganda Sunrise by swimming in the Thames! She is currently living and
working in London and is a solicitor with city law firm. |
