Elspeth has spent the past
32 years supporting her husband in his Scouting activities in England and the
Middle East. Over the past four years, she has used her commercial project
management skills gained at BT to support the USA as they develop new business
strategies, project initiatives and pursue sustainable revenue-generating
opportunities. Elspeth was responsible for formalising the partnership with the
USA and founded the UK Charity Uganda 2000, later renamed Uganda Sunrise UK.
Elspeth has spent many months in Uganda, working on community projects and
assisting the USA in defining and achieving its vision. She continues to thrive
in her role as Chairperson, is a member of USA and the Africa Scout Foundation
and acts as the central point of contact with the USA. |
